Ignis Syntune’s mission is to innovate and develop market leading products based on an Indium Phosphide technology platform. At the forefront are the company’s integrated tunable laser solutions – in volume production since 2008 – featuring lightning fast tuning and low power dissipation in a highly compact form factor.

The latest products – launched during OFC 2010 – are InGaAs Avalanche Photo Diode Chips for data rates from 1 Gb/s to 10 Gb/s and applications ranging from fiber to the home (xPON) to longer reach metro and long haul transmission (SONET/SDH and DWDM).
